On the list of important cosmetics, blush is not something that I obsess over. I believe blush should enhance your natural flush, and as long as it compliments my lipstick and isn’t too obvious I’m easy to please. I purchased PurePressed Blush in Cinnamon, which is a matte neutral red with slight brown undertones. It is very pigmented, and a little goes a long way on light skin. It goes great with the aforementioned PureMoist Lip Colour in Rachel and PureGloss in Rum Raisin. NOTE: at my makeup consultation, I tried Whisper, a soft baby pink with 24 karat gold flakes. I had read good reviews. It is my opinion that the gold flakes are way too sparkly for daytime (and possibly nighttime unless you are a 14 year old girl). I prefer a subtle shimmer to my blush and highlighter (see next post).
