Alba Terra Tints Lip Balm SPF 18

This was an impulse buy near the checkout counter at Whole Foods. I am totally addicted to lip balms and glosses, and must have something on my lips at all times. Perhaps this is due to the petroleum products that are in most commercial lip balms—they tend to feel great on but actually dry out your lips so you need to use more and more. Before you know it you’re addicted! Alba Terra Tints Lip Balm doesn’t contain any petroleum products and feels slightly cool and pepperminty on my lips. I purchased the Garnet tint, which leaves my lips a warm neutral bronze color. I also love lip balms with SPF protection. However, you can definitely taste the SPF or something like a crayon in there somewhere. It also doesn’t feel as moisturizing, slick, and glossy as petroleum-based products. I will use this up, but probably not re-purchase due to the crayon taste.
