Chemical Confessional

OK girls. I know you are all trying to be natural, organic, and non-toxic with your beauty products, but sometimes there is just a certain body butter or mascara that you can't do without. Am I right? For these beauty faves, a Chemically Independent girl just has to make a few exceptions. The Chemical Confessional is where you can confess these toxic tendencies and admit you are only human. And I'm not talking about using up a product before moving on to something less toxic--I'm talking about full on, all out, purposeful purchase and use of a product containing tons of toxicity. Here's mine: I got a spray tan this week for a special event. Eeew talk about inhaling who knows how many chemicals, not to mention absorbing them from head to toe. But it looked awesome, and the pictures are flawless (thanks, Rebecca!). I'm not sure that I can give up the occasional spray tan, but since I only do it a few times a year, it's not so bad, right? So...what's your Chemical Confession???
